FC Barcelona: record turnover (€914m) and net profit of €13m for the 2017-18 season

"The board of directors has approved the closing of the accounts corresponding to the 2017-18 season. The final result of this year reflects a record income in the history of the club of €914m (+29% over 2016-17), with an expense of €882m," announced FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) on 17/07/2018.

FC Barcelona posted revenues nearly 2% higher than the projected budget for 2017-18 (€897m) presented on 13/09/2017. Operating profit amounted to €32m and net profit after tax was €13m (compared to €18m in 2016-17) while EBITDA reached €177m.

"The board has valued the final balance of the year positively, and it's in line with the strategic plan of the club to reach €1bn of income in 2021. As is traditional, the club will present the details of the year end figures, as well as the new budget, before the next members' general assembly," added FC Barcelona.
