MLB: license agreement with Lucid Sight (blockchain gaming) to launch the "MLB Crypto Baseball" game

Lucid Sight, an American blockchain gaming company, has launched the "MLB Crypto Baseball" game via a license agreement with MLB on 13/07/2018.

Players will need to use the Ethereum cryptocurrency for their internal transactions, notably to improve their digital avatars. They will then be able to buy and sell MLB-branded items or earn rewards and unlock specific levels with "MLB Cryptos".

"These MLB Cryptos over the Ethereum blockchain via Lucid Sight's MLB Crypto Baseball website and iOS and Android apps. MLB Crypto Collectibles feature official marks from MLB and all 30 MLB Clubs and have abilities to mint further unique and rare MLB Cryptos. The first 100 to sign up for MLB Crypto Baseball will receive 1 free random MLB collectible," explained Lucid Sight on the game's website which has set up a friend referal system "to receive even more free MLB collectibles" as a reward.
