Juventus: 520,000 Cristiano Ronaldo shirts sold or pre-ordered within 24 hours of his transfer

Juventus FC (Serie A) sold or received pre-orders for 520,000 Cristiano Ronaldo flocked shirts during the first 24 hours following the announcement of the player's transfer to the club on 10/07/2018, announced Yahoo Sport Italia on 12/07/2018.

During these 24 hours, 500,000 shirts were pre-ordered using the online store of the Turin club, while another 20,000 were sold in various Juventus shops as well as in adidas (equipment manufacturer of the club) stores, according to the Italian website.

The official shirt ("match" version) is being sold for €137.45 and the replica shirt €104.95, on the club's online store. "Let's assume that all of the shirts ordered are those of the replica version, 520,000 shirts represent sales of about €54m," reported Yahoo Sport Italia.
