The 64 matches of the 2018 World Cup in Russia posted a cumulative average audience of 232 million viewers, or 3.6 million per game, on the generalist (Telecinco and Cuatro) and thematic (BeMad) channels of the free-TV group Mediaset España.

The four matches of the Spanish team drew an average of 11.56 million viewers per game. The average audience share of these four games was 69.9%.

At the 2014 World Cup, Mediaset España broadcast only the top 25 matches on its free-TV channels Telecinco and Cuatro.
