LaLiga Santander: Girona FC inaugurates a new 20,000 square meter training center

Girona FC (LaLiga Santander) have inaugurated a new training center which covers 20,000 square meters, in the area of Vilobí (less than 20km from Girona, Catalonia), on 13/07/2018.

The new training center, named La Vinya, includes two training surfaces - one 110mx72m hybrid surface and one 160mx72m natural grass surface - as well as an additional annex pitch, cloakrooms, offices, a space for medical staff and a gym. The new center was built in agreement with the PGA Catalunya Resort, a company that runs an urban development project including a hotel complex and a golf course.

Initially, La Vinya will be reserved for the Girona FC first team, but the center could grow in the future to accommodate the club's other teams.
