Eleven Sports: group acquires the exclusive rights to the PGA Championship (golf) for the UK and IRL

The UK television group Eleven Sports has acquired the exclusive rights to the 2018 PGA Championship, one of the four Grand Slam golf tournaments, with this year's edition held in St. Louis (Missouri, USA) from 09-12/08/2018, on 23/07/2018.

The tournament will mark the launch of the Eleven Sports 1 and 2 channels in the United Kingdom and Ireland via an online streaming platform, according to the group on 23/07/2018. Eleven Sports announced the creation of this platform in partnership with the media rights and marketing agency IMG on 13/07/2018.

Notably, Eleven Sports acquired the exclusive broadcast rights, in the UK and Ireland, to LaLiga Santander for the 2018-2021 cycle, on 02/05/2018, and the Serie A over the same period, on 13/07/2018.
