Rally: Asahi Kasei (chemicals, JPN) becomes an official partner of the world championship from 2018

Asahi Kasei, a Japanese group specialised in the chemical industry, has becomes an official partner of the FIA World Rally Championship as part of a "multi-year agreement", said WRC Promoter, organiser and commercial rights holder of the competition, on 24/07/2018. "The agreement with the Japanese-based group will begin at next month's ADAC Rallye Deutschland (16-19/08/2018) and marks the company's first involvement in motorsport sponsorship," added WRC.

"As a WRC premium (first-level) partner, Asahi Kasei will benefit from prominent TV-relevant branding during all championship rounds, as well as integration into all the series' innovative digital offers. A permanent presence in the WRC service park will foster a fast integration into the automotive industry as well as direct contact with fans around the globe," said WRC Promoter.
