ASO: Mitsubishi Motors becomes title sponsor of the Desafío Inca Dakar Series 2018 (Rally)

The Japanese car manufacturer Mitsubishi Motors has become the title sponsor of the Desafío Inca Dakar Series 2018 rally raid competition (a long distance off-road racing competition that takes place over several days), according to Amaury Sport Organisation, organiser of the event on 26/07/2018. The rally raid, will now be named the "Mitsubishi Motors Desafío Inca 2018" and will take place in Peru from 13 to 16/09/2018.

Mitsubishi Motors "will also provide the official vehicle for the Organisation to move around the imposing sand dunes in the region with its L200 DK-R and Montero Sport pickups," said ASO, which previously had Mitsubishi as its official supplier for the Dakar Rally between 2013 and 2015.
