U20 Women's World Cup France 2018: opening ceremony in Vannes (Morbihan) on 05/08/2018

The opening ceremony of the U20 Women's World Cup, will be followed by the France - Ghana (group A) match, at the Stade de la Rabine (9,000 capacity), in Vannes (Morbihan), on Sunday 05/08/2018 at 19:00, according to Laura Flessel, Minister of Sports, published on 27/07/2018.

Three other matches out of the 32 of the U20 Women's World Cup held in Brittany from 05 to 24/08/2018 are scheduled on 05/08/2018:
• Mexico - Brazil (Group B) in Dinan-Léhon, Côtes d'Armor (Stade du Clos Gastel, 2,000 capacity), kick-off at 13:30 CET.
• North Korea - England (Group B) at Dinan-Léhon (Stade du Clos Gastel), kick-off at 16.30
• New Zealand - Netherlands (Group A), at Vannes (Stade de la Rabine), at 16.30

• 16 teams, divided into four groups of four (336 players/21 per team) participate in the competition held every two years by FIFA:
• Group A: France, Ghana, New Zealand, The Netherlands
• Group B: North Korea, England, Mexico, Brazil
• Group C: United States, Japan, Paraguay, Spain
• Group D: Haiti, China, Nigeria, Germany
