FC Barcelona: Stanley Black & Decker (tools) becomes shirt sponsor of the women's team from 2018-19

Stanley Black & Decker, an American manufacturer of tools and security products, has renewed and extended its partnership with FC Barcelona's women's team FC Barcelona Femení (Liga Femenina Iberdrola) by becoming the club's main shirt sponsor from 2018-19, on 27/07/2018.

Stanley Black & Decker is the first main shirt sponsor in the history of the women's team formerly named "Club Femení Barcelona", which became an official FC Barcelona team on 26/06/2002 and was renamed "FC Barcelona Femení". The first female team of the Catalan club has been considered a professional team since summer 2015.

The deal agreement was announced in Los Angeles, USA, on the eve of the FC Barcelona Femení - SoCal FC (Women's Premier Soccer League, second women's football division in the US) friendly (5-0) at the Drake Stadium (11,700 capacity) at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) on 28/07/2018. Barça Femení is currently on a pre-season tour of the United States (from 24/07 to 04/08/2018), alongside the Catalan club's professional men's team.
