International Olympic Committee: Visa (payments) extends as a TOP partner until 2032

Visa, a US group of payment solutions and financial services, has extended its partnership as a TOP partner of the International Olympic Committee until 2032, on 31/07/2018. Visa is one of the founding members of the TOP (The Olympic Partner) programme established in 1986, the first level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the IOC.

Visa's partnership, begun in 1988 with the Seoul Summer Olympic Games (KOR) and the Calgary Winter Olympics (CAN), and was originally scheduled to end in 2020. The group has then extended with the IOC for 12 years, three Olympiads. During the four-year cycle 2021-2024, each TOP partner pays $200m (€171m on 31/07/2018) or $50m per year (€42.8m).
