England: Mitre (equipment manufacturer) becomes the official ball for FA competitions for 2018-2021

The British sports equipment manufacturer Mitre has become the official football supplier of the competitions organised by The FA, the English Football Association, on 01/08/2018. The agreement covers a period of three seasons (2018-2021).

Mitre will supply the "Miter Delta Max" ball and gains the status of second level partner of the following competitions: The Emirates FA Cup, The SSE Women's FA Cup, The FA Women's Super League, The FA Women's Championship, The Buildbase FA Trophy, The Buildbase FA Vase, as well as The FA Community Shield supported by McDonald's.

"The balls will display the respective competition logo, with The Emirates FA Cup and The SSE Women's FA Cup balls each receiving a creative, bespoke new design," said The FA.

The partnership will begin with the 2018 edition of the Community Shield, the pre-season trophy between the English league champions (Manchester City FC) and the winners of the FA Cup (Chelsea FC) at Wembley Stadium (90,000 capacity), on Sunday 05/08/2018 (kick-off at 16:00 CET).
