Italy: launch of DAZN (OTT platform), broadcaster of the Serie A (3 games/day), LaLiga and Ligue 1

DAZN, the OTT sports platform of the British group Perform, has been officially launched in Italy on 02/08/2018.

Perform Group took advantage of the launch to formalise several acquisitions of sports rights in Italy (see below), including the exclusive broadcast rights to LaLiga Santander, the Ligue 1 Conforama, Domino's League 2, the Coupe de la Ligue and the Trophée des Champions, for the 2018-2021 cycle.

Perform also acquired the rights to broadcast 114 of the 380 Serie A TIM games (three per matchday), in Italy, over the 2018-2021 cycle, on 13/06/2018, as well as the broadcasting rights of all 472 games per season, including 428 exclusive Serie BKT matches, over the same period, on 29/06/2018

• DAZN is marketed at €9.99 per month (first month free), without commitment, in Italy, excluding the distribution agreement.
