Facebook: Top 100 European clubs with the most likes (August 2018)

With more than 109.1 million likes, Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) are the most popular European club on Facebook, according to data compiled by News Tank Football, which offers a Top 100 of the most popular European clubs on this social network as of 01/08/2018.

With 1.7 million additional likes in July 2018, Juventus FC (9^th, Serie A TIM), who recruited Cristiano Ronaldo (officially announced transfer on 10/07/2018, presentation of the player on 16/07/2018) from Real Madrid CF, was the club that posted the best growth in absolute value in the Top 100, ahead of Manchester City FC (Premier League, +323,880 likes) and Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Conforama, +272,166).

The Premier League is the most represented league in the top 20 of this ranking with seven clubs, followed by the Serie A TIM (four). LaLiga Santander (three clubs) is in third place, tied with the Süper Lig, with the Turkish league being the only league outside of the European Top 5 leagues to be represented in the top 20.
