eSports: AS Monaco becomes the third club to join eFootball.Pro after FC Barcelona and FC Schalke 04

AS Monaco eSports has joined eFootball.Pro, an eSports league, events and content creation company, according to AS Monaco FC (Ligue 1 Conforama) on 06/08/2018. The company was founded in 2016 by Gerard Piqué, the Spanish international and FC Barcelona defender.

"We are delighted to be the third club joining, as founding partners along with FC (LaLiga Santander) Schalke 04 (Bundesliga), in the first international electronic sports league for football clubs only," added AS. Monaco.

"eFootball.Pro and Konami's competition aims to professionalise football eSports and will add more clubs soon. It will be played using the video game series of the Japanese company," said the club. Konami became an official partner of AS Monaco (19/07/2018) for the release of the game PES 2019, on 30/08/2018.
