Serie A TIM: new logo with an emphasised 'A', an "element universally linked to the Italian League"

"The desire to emphasise the 'A' in the centre, an element universally linked to our league (Lega Serie A) and our most important competition (the Serie A TIM)," such is the explanation provided by the Lega Serie A to justify the new logo presented on 08/08/2018.

"A young line, an immediate impact that encloses the colours of the Italian flag (green, white, red) in the simplicity and symmetry of forms, the prestige of gold and the authority of the 'A', reaffirming the strong relationship and renewed with TIM," explained the Italian Professional League.

From this reflection also emerged the new logos of other competitions organised by the Lega Serie A: the Coppa Italia, Supercoppa Italia and the Primavera Championship (U-20), the latter also associated with TIM (see below). The Italian Cup and the Italian Super Cup are sponsored by Frecciarossa (the "Red Arrow"), the high-speed train line of Trenitalia, for the 2018-21 period.
