LaLiga Santander: Girona FC invests €2.6m in the modernisation of the Estadio de Montilivi

Girona FC (LaLiga Santander) is investing €2.6m in works during the summer of 2018 to modernise and increase the capacity of the 13,500-seat Estadio de Montilivi, where the Catalan club plays its home matches, according to the club, on 02/08/2018.

The installation of a new lighting system constitutes a major part of the investment made by Girona FC during this off-season between 2017-18 and 2018-19. "The stadium will have a total of 258 projectors, with a total power of 340,000 watts. An installation that will allow for television broadcasting with 4K technology," said the club. The creation of a new car park and an additional 1,000 seats in the south stand of the stadium - which will reach a capacity of 14,500 - are also part of the summer work schedule that will be carried out by the German company Nexxo Project Management.
