eSports: Mesut Özil (GER) and eSports Reputation (agency) create a team on the FIFA video game

Mesut Özil, the German international and Arsenal FC (Premier League) midfielder, has announced the creation of a FIFA eSports team "Team Özil" in partnership with eSports Reputation, a German eSports consulting and marketing agency, via his account on the social network Twitter, on 02/08/2018.

The announcement was made during the final of the "FIFA eWorld Cup" at the O2 in London (ENG), from 02 to 04/08/2018. Mesut Özil became the official ambassador for the FIFA eWorld Cup 2018 on 23/06/2018.

The aim of the 2014 World Champion is to build a team of players from around the world, in collaboration with eSports Reputation. Led by Joshua Begehr, a former eSports professional, the German company has several players under contract, (Cihan "Cihan" Yasarlar, Kai "deto" Wollin and Crème Manoel on FIFA). The team will participate in all national and international competitions on FIFA 19.
