Ligue 1 Conforama: the World Cup champions playing in France in the spotlight for Matchday 1

"The Ligue 1 Conforama will celebrate its world champions during Matchday 1 of the 2018-19 Ligue 1 Conforama, with the support of the French Football Federation. The eight French international winners of the 2018 World Cup that play in France will be honoured in a new tour," announced the LFP on 07/08/2018.

"The famous trophy that rewards the winners of the World Cup will be presented for the first time in the stadiums of the Ligue 1 Conforama clubs where these eight champions from Russia 2018 play at the weekend. On Friday 10/08/2018, the trophy will be present at the Orange Vélodrome in Marseille (FRA) to celebrate Steve Mandanda, Adil Rami, and Florian Thauvin, the players who open this  2018-19 season with Olympique de Marseille against Toulouse FC (kick-off at 20:45 CET)," explained the French League.
