LaLiga Santander: Valencia FC forbids spectators from smoking in the stands of Mestalla

Valencia CF (LaLiga Santander) has decided to forbid spectators from smoking in the stands of the Mestalla Stadium (49,677 capacity) from the 2018-19 season, the club announced on 09/08/2018.

"Valencia CF believes in healthy conducts and wants to give example by making Mestalla a better place for families and the younger fans. Nonetheless, the club will enable some open areas so that those who want to smoke can do so without bothering the rest of the fans," stated Valencia CF.

The friendly match against Bayer Leverkusen (Bundesliga), scheduled on 11/08/2018 (kick-off at 21:30 CET) at the Mestalla, will be the first to take place under the new anti-smoking rules.
