Serie BKT: 2018-19 calendar with 19 clubs to be presented in Milan on Monday 13/08/2018 (19:00 CET)

The calendar for the 2018-19 Serie BKT season, with only 19 participating teams, will be made public in Milan (ITA) on Monday 13/08/2018 at 19:00 CET, according to the Lega Serie B on 10/08/2018.

"Furthermore, Lega B reserves the right to take action against all those who are responsible for unjust, illegal, illegitimate and prejudicial conduct and actions against the League and/or its associated companies," added the Italian professional football league, as several legal challenges to operating the championship with 19 clubs are expected.

The presentation of the 2018-19 Serie BKT calendar was due to take place in Cosenza on 31/07, then on 06/08/2018, before being postponed.

The uncontested exclusions of Bari and Cesena (both companies went bankrupt) for failing to submit the regulatory documents on 16/07/2018, was followed by the administrative exclusion of Avellino, confirmed by the CONI (Italian Olympic Committee, highest sports authority in the country), then by the Administrative Court of Lazio, for lack of financial guarantees on 07/08/2018, has reduced the number of clubs…
