Atlético de Madrid: more than 56,407 season tickets for the 2018-19 season, new record for the club

For the 2018-19 season, Club Atlético de Madrid (LaLiga Santander) has exceeded its record of 56,407 season ticket holders reached in 2017-18, which corresponded to its first season played at the Wanda Metropolitano (68,000 capacity), announced the club on 02/08/2018.

Atlético de Madrid announced at the end of its re-subscription campaign, on 18/06/2018, that 97.7% of its 2017-18 subscribers had re-engaged for the 2018-19 season.

Faced with the strong demand for additional season tickets, the Madrid club has decided to open new areas of Wanda Metropolitano, formerly for the sale of single game tickets, to subscribers, allowing the club to once again beat its historic record. New season tickets are selected from the 20,000 members on the waiting list set up by the club.
