The social network will broadcast the 380 matches per season of the Spanish first division, including the 2018-19 season which begins on Friday 17/08/2018, free-to-air in the eight countries. Each match will be broadcast on the official LaLiga Facebook page, as well as on the pages of the clubs.

"LaLiga prides itself on being at the forefront of broadcast innovation, offering many hours of sports entertainment to millions of viewers every day, and now with Facebook, LaLiga breaks new ground by signing its first broadcast deal with a social network platform," said LaLiga on 14/08/2018.
