eSports: Monster Energy (energy drinks) jersey sponsor of PSG.LGD (Dota 2) in 2018-19

Monster Energy, the American brand of energy drinks, has become the jersey sponsor of PSG.LGD, the eSports team of Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Conforama), for the 2018-19 season, on 09/08/2018.

PSG.LGD is the team engaged on DOTA 2, a multi-player online video game, battle arena type. As part of the deal, the Monster Energy logo will appear on the front of the PSG.LGD jersey "at its international tournaments and will benefit from the growing visibility and popularity of the PSG.LGD team, in the whole world but especially on the Chinese territory," indicated the Parisian club.

The energy drink succeeds Asus, the Taiwanese manufacturer of technological products, the jersey sponsor in 2017. The agreement with Monster Energy was signed on the occasion of the summer tour 2018 in Asia of Paris Saint-Germain, which took place in Singapore from 24/07 to 31/07/2018 (as part of the ICC) then to Shenzen (CHN), from 31/07 to 05/08/2018 (for the Trophée des Champions, played against AS Monaco FC on 04/08/2018, 4-0 victory for PSG).
