ECA: eight European clubs selected for the CSR Award 2018, the winner will be known on 10/09/2018

Eight clubs have been selected for the for best 2018 Corporate Social Responsibility programme, ECA announced on 13/08/2018. The name of the winner will be announced at the 21^st General Assembly of the ECA in Split (CRO) on Monday 10/09/2018.

The eight clubs are:
• Chelsea FC (ENG)
• Apollon Limassol FC (CYP)
• KAA Gent (BEL)
• Manchester City FC (ENG)
• Valerenga IF (NOR)
• Feyenoord Rotterdam (NED)
• FC Schalke 04 (GER)
• Ferencváros (HUN)

The ECA CSR Award is given to a member club for a project run by the club that must meet four conditions, according to ECA:
• "Aims at supporting/helping the local community by facing/tackling specific regional problems/issues;
• is clearly more a project than an event, showing continuity and sustainability;
• leads to positive results benefiting the local community in which the club has its roots;
• can serve as best practice for all ECA Member Clubs."
