Bundesliga: FC Schalke 04 draws 100,000 supporters to the Veltins Arena for its Fan Day

FC Schalke 04 (Bundesliga) drew more than 100,000 fans to its Fan Day ('Schalke-Tag') held at the Veltins Arena (62,271 seats) on 12/08/2018.

The fans were able to attend a training session of the first team, and some of them even participated by taking part in a 30-meter sprint race, with rewards.

"Free guided tours of the stadium, helicopter flights over the club grounds, video game console duels against FC Schalke 04 players and interviews with players and staff members were also offered to all visitors," said the club.
