eSports: Real Betis (LaLiga Santander) teams up with Esportia to "improve its eSports section"

Real Betis Balompié (LaLiga Santander) is teaming up with Esportia, a Spanish company specializing in the professionalization of eSports, to "improve its eSports section," the club announced on 14/08/2018.

The eSports section of Real Betis Balompié was launched in December 2016 and participated in the "Virtual Football Organization" virtual football league on the FIFA football simulation game (from EA Sports). The club will soon announce the competitions and games in which it will participate as part of its partnership with Esportia.

"eSports is experiencing tremendous growth globally and the club sees this as one of its most strategic projects in the years to come, with the goal of connecting with new generations and using eSports as a tool for the internationalization of the club," says Real Betis Balompié.
