Lega Serie A: "Surprised and disappointed" by Javier Tebas (LaLiga) comments against Juve and Inter

"The Lega Serie A defines itself as surprised and disappointed by the statements made by the president of LaLiga, Javier Tebas (ESP). Declarations that, without any foundation, damage the image and challenge the integrity and good work of two Italian clubs and of the league to which they, together with other 18 companies, are a part of," stated the Italian Professional Football League on 17/08/2018.

"These 'things' do not just happen because of management errors, but because elsewhere, things are happening that should not happen. I mean PSG (Neymar from FC Barcelona to PSG in 2017), but also Juventus with the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo, or these offers from Inter Milan, which has no money to sign players and then offers (Luka) Modric a lot of money which it is going to get from I don't know where," said Javier Tebas in the Spanish newspaper ABC on 17/08/2018.

"The Lega Serie A can not passively accept these statements that it considers as media tools to destabilize the international scene," added the Italian League.
