Ligue 1 Conforama: RC Strasbourg breaks historic record with 19,187 season tickets in 2018-19

RC Strasbourg Alsace (Ligue 1 Conforama) has set a new record for season ticket holders at the Stade de la Meinau (26,200 capacity) with 19,187 subscriptions for the 2018-19 Ligue 1 Conforama season, on 16/08/2018 (73.2% of the stadium capacity). The previous record was for the 2017-18 season, with 15,650 subscriptions, an increase of 22.6% for 2018-19.

The first game of the 2018-19 season at the Stade de la Meineau, RC Strasbourg Alsace - AS Saint-Etienne (1-1, Matchday 2 of Ligue 1 Conforama) on Sunday 19/08/2018 (kick-off at 15:00 CET), drew 25,385 spectators, a fill rate of 96%.

RC Strasbourg Alsace had the eighth-best average attendance in the 2017-18  Ligue 1 Conforama, with 24,083 spectators on average at home. The fill rate was 92% (second-best in the league). The 2017-18 attendance was up 41.5% compared to 2016-17 (17,013 spectators on average, when the club played in Domino's Ligue 2).
