eSports: 4 new franchises (Lakers, Wolves, Nets and Hawks) join the NBA 2K League in 2019

The NBA 2K League welcomes four new North American basketball franchise teams for the 2019 season, on 15/08/2013. The eSports League was created in 2018 by the NBA and the American video game publisher Take-Two Interactive Software (creator of NBA 2K game).

"The Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Lakers and Minnesota Timberwolves - will join the league for its second season, bringing the total number of NBA 2K League teams from 17 to 21," said the North American league.
