TV rights in Serie A: agreement with Infront guarantees League at least €5.94 billion from 2015-2021

The Lega Serie A (the body that manages the 20 clubs in Italy's top flight) is guaranteed to earn at least €5.94 billion in TV rights for the six seasons from 2015-2021. This follows an agreement reached by the Serie A and the media and marketing rights agency Infront Italy, on the 09/12/2013.

Infront are guaranteeing a minimum income of €980 million per season from 2015 to 2018. If the agency achieve sales of €1.04 billion per year in this period, the contract will be automatically extended until 2021, with an annual guaranteed minimum of €1billion.

In addition, under contract until 2016 as media advisors to the League, Infront have obtained an extension of the agreement until 2018, with an option for three more seasons.

  • The negotiations were conducted for Serie A by Claudio Lotito, president of Lazio, and Andrea Agnelli, president of Juventus, both nominated by their peers, and on the other side by Marco Bogarelli, president of Infront Italy.
