DAZN: Cristiano Ronaldo (Juventus) becomes an ambassador of the OTT platform until 2020

International football star Cristiano Ronaldo (POR) has become the first global ambassador for DAZN, the OTT sports platform of the British media group Perform, on 22/08/2018. The duration of the contract will be two and a half years, or until the end of 2020.

As part of the agreement, Cristiano Ronaldo will promote the platform in territories where DAZN is accessible, including Germany, Canada, Japan and Italy, where it was officially launched on 02/08/2018, with a portfolio of broadcasting rights for the 2018-2021 cycle including, the Serie A TIM, Serie BKT, LaLiga Santander, Ligue 1 Conforama, Domino's Ligue 2, the Coupe de la Ligue and the Trophée des Champions.

The five-time winner of the Ballon d'Or joined Italian club Juventus FC (Serie A TIM) during the 2018-19 summer transfer window. The partnership also covers all territories where DAZN is to be launched by the end of the year 2020. DAZN will begin broadcasting in the United States on 10/09/2018.
