eSports: AS Monaco teams up with Magic Gaming, an affiliate of Orlando Magic (NBA)

AS Monaco eSports, have entered a partnership with the American NBA franchise Orlando Magic and its affiliated NBA 2K League team, Magic Gaming, according to AS Monaco FC (Ligue 1 Conforama) on 22/08/2018. This is the first time a franchise of the National Basketball Association has teamed up with a professional football club.

As part of the partnership, the two teams offer their respective communities enriched content and interactions with eSports professionals. "It is a fantastic opportunity for our two entities to reach a wider audience internationally. It's a win-win partnership," said Michael Forde, director of sales for Orlando Magic, on 22/08?2018.

"This partnership will offer fans an opening on the US culture of gaming and a new kind of experience," said the club. The NBA 2K League was created in 2018 by the NBA and the American video game publisher Take-Two Interactive Software (creator of the NBA 2K game).
