LaLiga Santander: Deportivo Alavés counts a record 17,512 season ticket holders for 2018-19

Deportivo Alavès (LaLiga Santander) is closing its 2018-19 season ticket campaign with 17,512 season ticket holders, a new record, according to the Spanish club on 23/08/2018.

The club had already broken its record number of season ticket holders during the previous two seasons with 15,000 season ticket holders in 2016-17 for the club's return to the Spanish first division, and 17,241 in 2017-18. "This season's 'Locura albiazul' campaign has once again been a great success, with the city and territory still showing their support for our team for the new season, and the Mendizorroza (19,840 capacity) seems destined to remain among the LaLiga Santander stadiums with the best fill rate," said the Basque club.

In 2017-18, Deportivo Alavés posted an average attendance of 14,782 spectators at the Mendizorroza, the sixteenth best overall in the Spanish league, with a fill rate of 75% (seventh).
