Portugal: Eleven Sports acquires exclusive TV rights to Juventus TV for several years from 2018-19

The British audio-visual group Eleven Sports Network has acquired the exclusive rights to broadcast Juventus TV, Juventus FC's (Serie A TIM) channel, in Portugal, as part of a "multi-year agreement," according to Portuguese media on 23/08/2018.

The agreement comes as Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo was transferred to Juventus for €112m (including €100m payable over two years and a €12m bonus) on 10/07/2018. The player was officially presented in Turin (Italy) on 16/07/2018. Ronaldo has committed for a period of four years, until 30/06/2022 and should receive a salary of €30m per year.
