Premier League: eToro (trading) becomes a partner of seven clubs which will be paid in bitcoin

eToro, a digital trading platform, including cryptocurrency, has become a partner of seven Premier League clubs for the 2018-19 season, on 21/08/2018. These club's include Brighton & Hove Albion FC, Cardiff City FC, Crystal Palace FC, Newcastle United FC, Leicester City FC, Southampton FC and Tottenham Hotspur FC.

The seven clubs will be paid in bitcoin. "As a global multi-asset platform where you can purchase the world's biggest cryptoassets alongside more traditional investments, we are excited to be partnering with so many Premier League clubs and make history by being the first company ever to pay for a Premier League partnership in bitcoin," said Iqbal V.
