2018-19 Champions League: 15 countries represented by the 32 clubs, draw on 30/08/2018 at 18:00 CET

15 European countries are represented by the 32 clubs that will participate in the UEFA 2018-19 Champions League group stage, the draw of which is organised by UEFA at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco on Thursday 30/08/2018 from 18:00 CET.

Under the new format of the competition (2018-2021) which takes effect in 2018-19 (regulations available to download), half of the places, 16 out of 32, are reserved for the four top ranked federations: Spain, Germany, England and Italy.

Four other federations have more than one participant in 2018-19: France (3), Russia (2), Portugal (2) and the Netherlands (2). In all, eight European countries account for 78.1% of the qualified clubs (25 out of 32). The other seven represented countries (Ukraine, Turkey, Belgium, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Greece and Serbia) each have one participating club (see below).
