LaLiga: "personalised official applications" created for LaLiga Santander and LaLiga 1|2|3 clubs

"With the aim of promoting the digitalisation of its member clubs and bringing them closer to the fans, LaLiga has created a personalised official application for a number of LaLiga Santander and LaLiga 1|2|3 teams," said the Spanish football league on 29/08/2018. 

"The apps will be available for Android and iOS in the coming days; the main features include multimedia content; fixtures, results and live standings; player statistics, social media; statistics; social media; stadium information; and push notifications," added LaLiga explaining the app which six Spanish first division clubs (Deportivo Alavès, Sociedad Deportiva Eibar, Getafe CF, Rayo Vallecano de Madrid, Real Valladolid CF and SD Huesca) and twelve LaLiga 1|2|3 clubs will use.

"The creation of official apps for LaLiga clubs is another step forward in our work to be closer to the fans and to offer the best technology to our clubs. We believe that the fans of the clubs involved will enjoy the content and that in the coming months we can introduce new improvements," said Alfredo Bermejo, digital strategy director at LaLiga.
