Scottish Professional Football League: Infront acquires international media rights from MP & Silva

Infront, the Swiss global media rights and sports marketing agency, has acquired the international media rights to the SPFL (Scottish Professional Football League) on 31/08/2018.

The duration of the contract was not communicated, but Infront replaces the British agency MP & Silva which had held these rights until 2021-22.

The SPFL terminated its contract with MP & Silva for non-payment on 13/08/2018.

• "A ten season deal with MP & Silva is being terminated after the rights holder defaulted on a number of payments due to the SPFL, and to other leagues around the world. The termination of the present agency contact, which was signed in 2013, will have no material impact on the record-breaking club fees paid and expected to be paid for season 2017-18," said the Scottish league on 13/08/2018.
