LaLiga Santander: the Brazilian Ronaldo Luis Nazário de Lima acquires 51% of Real Valladolid CF

Brazilian Ronaldo Luis Nazário de Lima, the former FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander), FC Internazionale Milano (Serie A TIM) and Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) legend, and one of the best forwards of the history of football, has become the new majority shareholder of Real Valladolid CF (promoted to LaLiga Santander in 2018-19) by acquiring 51% of the club's shares, according to the club on 03/09/2018. The transaction was valued at around €25m, according to Spanish media.

"This is Ronaldo's first experience as a football club owner, where he intends to apply all his knowledge gained in different areas during his career as a football player and during his various later professional experiences, most of them related to a sport he loves deeply and around which his whole life revolves," added Real Valladolid.
