Basketball: Ganten (mineral water, CHN) becomes a global partner of FIBA until December 2019

Ganten, a Chinese brand of mineral water, has become a global partner and official supplier of FIBA, in view of the next FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 which will take place in China (from 31/08 to 15/09/2019), until 31/12/2019, according to the international body on 30/08/2018. "The agreement was brokered by FIBA Marketing, the strategic partnership between FIBA and Infront, which is responsible for securing multi-year agreements related to FIBA's new calendar of events," said FIBA.

As part of this agreement, "Ganten has key commercial rights and exclusivity in the water category across the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 and FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2018. It will supply mineral water at both competitions. The agreement also grants Ganten sponsorship rights for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Qualifiers' remaining windows to be played across the globe in September and November 2018 as well as February 2019," added FIBA.
