Champions League 2013-14: PSG remain top of rankings in guaranteed income (€49.6 million)

At the end of the sixth and final day of the group stages of the 2013-14 Champions League on the 10 and 11/12/2013, NTF have published an updated table of the income the participating clubs are already insured of receiving from UEFA (Union of European Football Associations), organisers of the competition.

Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1, FRA), despite their defeat to Portugal's Benfica (2-1, Group C ,10/12/2013) pocketed €7.5 million in guaranteed additional income thanks to qualification to the second round. Indeed, the Parisians are now assured of playing at least eight games during the 2013-14 Champions League, which increased their share of guaranteed minimum income in the second half of the French "market pool" (see explanation below) from €9.3 million to €16.8 million.

Paris Saint-Germain lead the rankings in guaranteed minimum income with €49.6 million.
