MLS: colours and logo of Club Internacional de Fútbol Miami, led by David Beckham, revealed

The official name, colours and logo of Club Internacional de Fútbol Miami, a new MLS franchise, founded by an investment group led by the Englishman David Beckham, have been officially revealed on 05/09/2018.

The logo features a white heron, an emblematic bird of the state of Florida (USA) that symbolizes power and patience. The eclipse in the middle of the logo represents "the people of Miami who work day and night to realize our dreams," the club indicated. The seven rays of sun around the eclipse are a tribute to David Beckham and his number.

The first franchise to be owned by a former Major League Soccer player, Inter Miami CF will enter the league from the 2020 season announced Don Garber, the commissioner of MLS, on 30/01/2018.

• The investment group headed by David Beckham (ENG) is composed of Marcelo Claure (businessman, USA-BOL) brothers Jorge and José Mas (telecom group MasTec, USA-CUB), Masayoshi Son (telecom group SoftBank, JPN) and Simon Fuller (businessman, ENG).
