Bundesliga: FC Bayern Munich opens its third football school in China in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province

FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) has inaugurated a third football school in China, in the city of Taiyuan (4.4 million inhabitants), the capital of Shanxi Province (north-east of the country), in partnership with the China Sports Futurity Investment Co, according to the German club on 06/09/2018.

"The partnership with Shanxi province in northern China and the agency China Sports Futurity covers an ongoing exchange of experiences, regular and intense visits by FC Bayern youth coaches, and the assistance and training of Chinese coaches and young players in Munich (Germany). Further activities by the German record champions are planned in the province of Shanxi," added Bayern Munich.

After Qingdao in October 2016 and Shenzen in March 2017 (see below), Taiyuan is the third Chinese city to host a FC Bayern Munich football school. "We are confident FC Bayern, as one of the best football clubs in the world, can help to develop football in Shanxi with their expertise and youth policy," said Luo Huining, party secretary in the province of Shanxi.
