The European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR) has unveiled the new logo for the Heineken Champions Cup, to be used from the 2018-19 season, on 11/09/2018. The logo was designed by Designwerk, a creative agency specialised in sport which became the design agency of the EPCR on 11/06/2018.

"The new logo is a creative blend reflecting EPCR's ambition and drive as well as Heineken’s long-standing association with the competition that is widely regarded by European clubs, players and supporters alike as 'The One to Win'," explained the EPCR.

Designwerk is in charge of the EPCR competitions (Champions Cup, European Rugby Challenge Cup and European Rugby Continental Shield) and its marketing variants to increase their footprint and notoriety, especially that of the Champions Cup, as the Dutch beer brand Heineken, a client of the agency, returns as the title sponsor of the competition from 2018-19 (see below). The name and logo of the competition is not the same in France due to the Loi Évin (Évin Law) which prohibits the use of alcohol or tobacco brands as a visible sponsors.
