Juventus FC: revenue of €504.7m (-10.3%) and a net loss of -€19.2m in 2017-18

Juventus FC (Serie A TIM) posted a total revenue of €504.7m for the 2017-18 fiscal year (from 01/07/2017 to 30/06/2018), down 10.3% compared to 2016-17 (record amount of €562.7m), indicated the club after the approval of the club's draft financial statements for 2017-18 by its board of directors, on 13/09/2018.

The Italian club posted a net loss of -€19.2m in 2017-18, compared with a net profit of €42.6m in 2016-17. The operating profit of the Turin club (ITA) was also negative and down sharply to -€1.4m, versus €67.4m the previous season.

TV rights are the club's main source of revenue (39.7%) and generated €200.2m. They were down (€232.8m in 2016-17, -14%) due in particular to the club's less successful run in the Champions League (elimination in the quarter-finals in 2017-18; defeat in the final in 2016-17).

Gains on player transfers amounted to €102.4m, down 32%, while revenues related to sponsorship (€86.9m) and merchandising (€27.8m) increased by 16.2% and 44.8% respectively.
