Tennis: Naomi Osaka (JPN), 2018 US Open winner, becomes a Nissan (automobiles) brand ambassador

Japanese tennis player Naomi Osaka has become a brand ambassador for the Japanese car manufacturer Nissan, on 13/09/2018. The deal comes following Osaka's 2018 US Open Tennis Championships victory over American Serena Williams (6-2, 6-4), on 08/09/2018.

The deal was negotiated through the media rights and marketing agency IMG, which manages the interests of the player.

Nissan joins Citizen (watchmaker, JPN), Wowow (telecommunications, JPN), Nissin (food, JPN), adidas (equipment supplier, GER) and Yonex (equipment supplier, JPN) as partners of Naomi Osaka, 7th seeded world player according to her WTA ranking (on 14/09/2018).
