UEFA: first matches of the Champions League (18 and 19/09/2018) and Europa League (20/09/2018)

The first matchday of the group stage of the 2018-19 Champions League is scheduled on Tuesday 18 and Wednesday 19/09/2018. The first matchday of the group stage of the 2018-19 Europa League will be played on Thursday 20/09/2018.

The final of the Champions League will take place at the Wanda Metropolitano de Madrid (ESP) on Saturday 01/06/2019. The final of the Europa League will take place at the Baku Olimpiya Stadionu (Baku Olympic Stadium, AZE), three days earlier, on Wednesday 29/05/2019 (for the first time, the two European finals will be played during the same week).

The 32 clubs participating in the Champions League group stage will share €1.95bn, 3.5 times more than the €560m which will be divided among the 48 teams participating in the Europa League group stage.
