Girona FC: 5,000 seats offered to ticket holders to compensate for Girona - Barcelona in the USA

Girona FC (LaLiga Santander) has offered its season ticket holders 5,000 places, as well as transport from Girona to the Camp Nou (99,354 capacity) in Barcelona by bus, for their match versus FC Barcelona (Matchday 5 of LaLiga Santander, on Sunday 23/09/2018, kick-off at 20:45 CET), as compensation for the relocation of a league match to the USA, according to the club on 13/09/2018.

This initiative is part of a series of measures taken by Girona FC to offset the possible relocation of their match versus FC Barcelona in the United States. As part of an agreement with Relevent (US media, sports and entertainment company), to create a joint venture to promote football in the United States and Canada, LaLiga announced the possibility of holding an official match of the Spanish league in the US each season for the next 15 years, on 16/08/2018.
