Manchester United FC (Premier League) posted a record turnover of £590m (€665.9m) during fiscal year 2017-18 (from 01/07/2017 to 30/06/2018), a slight increase of 1.5% compared to 2016-17 (£581.2m, €661m), according to the club on 25/09/2018.

The club's commercial revenue reached a record of £276.1m (€311.6m, +0.2%). This revenue represents 46.8% of Manchester United's total revenue in 2017-18, compared to 47.4% in 2017. It includes £173.2m (€195.5m) in sponsorship revenue and £102.9m (€116.1m) in merchandising revenue.

TV rights was the club's source of revenue which grew the most (+5.2%), from £194.1m (€220.7m) in 2016-17 to £204.1m (€230.4m) in 2017-18, mainly due to the difference in Manchester United's final standing in the league table (6th in 2016-17, 2nd in 2017-18).

The club's operating profit was down (-45.4%) to £44.1m, as was net profit which shows a loss of £37.3m (€42.1m), compared to a loss of £39.2m (€44.6m) during the previous fiscal year.
